The Tree and the Coin

I was watching a movie and the following caught my attention and it could be applied practically in our daily lives.

"One's conduct should be modeled after a tree, the trunk is rooted while its leaves flourish."

-This basically means we are rooted in solid principles while we expand and make our friends and connections and maintaining our principles.

"One's attitude should be like a coin, square on the inside while smooth on the edges."
-this means that no matter how solid we are with our principles inside we should also know how to blend in with people who don't have the same point of view like we do.

All Inside Your Head

All the things that makes you angry and irritated exist only in you.

Nothing in the world can make you feel bad, angry, depressed, irritated, emotional or lonely unless you have trained yourself to be angry and irritated by certain words, conditions and people.

10% is what happens to you 90% is your reaction to it.

When you are not busy actively making yourself miserable, by reacting negatively to people, situations and circumstances, you will be happy.

What makes you unhappy is the programming you got from other people. The beliefs you got with the people or group you associate, the Media, your parents, your neighborhood.

What makes you feel bad is your social conditioning.

We live in a world where the society promotes getting angry, depressed, irritated, criticism, gossiping, judging competition, fear, jealousy, emotional, upset as something normal. How unfortunate.

We can't do anything about other people's belief, but we can do something about our beliefs. We can choose to live in the light or in the dark.

We are all okay, We just allowed other people to put wrong ideas in our heads that's why some of us are suffering.

Interpretations

As I have observed, it's Funny how people's definition of their God is directly proportional to how they define themselves.

It seems that the attribute of people's God is the same as their attitude, character and personality.

If the leader's attitude is aggressive their God is also aggressive. If the leader's attitude is loving their God is also loving. If the leader's attitude is irritated with other religion their God is also irritated with other religion. And whatever the leader's character and attitude is,  their members also has that same character and attitude.

The saying "You see people as you are, not as the are" holds true. Because, it seems that people interpret the holy texts, scriptures or books mostly based with how they would interpret as if they are interpreting themselves. And they will find all the evidence in their holy books to support what they "feel is right" maybe that is why most preachers have different interpretation of these holy books and quite often, even if its the same Holy Book they don't agree.

Observe most religions and spiritual movements Why is it that what the leader of the religion likes, their God also likes. What a the leader of the religion hates, their God also hates. Whatever they support their God also supports.

And how they interpret the teachings is mostly based on their personality. And all their interpretation and definition of their God is mostly based their persoanl view of people and the world.

If you open your mind most preachers, pastors, teachers, Gurus, Holy Men and their teachings and interpretations are based with their personality and that is the reason for all the separation and hate in this world.

Be observant, I believe the God we all believe has no personality and is impersonal. The cause of most negativity in religion is when the personal attitude and interpretations of the leader takes over.

Think for yourselves, don't let other people's belief rub on you without your consent.

Doing the Opposite

“The universe maintained a balance, moving first one way
and then the other in a forever equalizing of opposites.”
― Diana LanhamHouse of Aegea

Sometimes doing the opposite is the most practical thing to do. Which means if what you are doing right now is not generating the results you want, maybe you want to do the opposite.

For example...

If spending too much is not working, maybe you should save.

If keeping quite is not working, maybe you should start talking.

If getting irritated or angry is not working maybe be more kind and patient might work.

If yelling is not working talk in a soft tone.

If playing video games waste too much time then do the opposite.

if talking in a soft tone is not working maybe try yelling.

If talking all the time is not working then try keeping quite.

If eating unhealthy food is not working start eating healthy foods.

If not approaching is not working then start approaching.

If meditating all day and not doing any physical action is not giving you the life you want then maybe its time to get off your ass and start working.

If listening to teacher confuses you even more then think for yourself.

If going to church makes you more negative towards other people maybe you might want to stop.

If not smiling and being badtrip keeps people away from you then try smiling more and be in a good trip.

If just being yourself seems like is not working for you spiritually then maybe try going to church and be part of a group.

If voicing our your opinions is not working anymore then try the opposite. Or if being too timid is not working then try voicing it out.

If thinking for yourself has not given you the life you want then maybe you might want to start listening to other people.

If not taking a bath is not working anymore, maybe it will be better to taking a bath.

If wanting to be always right is not working then do the opposite and submit.
If reading and learning and attending seminars has not generated the results you are looking for then stop and start applying.

If being a snob and not talking to people makes you not make new friends maybe its time to start smiling and start chatting with people.

If being sarcastic seems like is not working anymore maybe do the opposite.
If staying up late makes you feel lethargic and seems like you are not able to accomplish things maybe you might want to sleep early.

If eating pizza, chocolates, cakes, rice and ice cream makes your fat and gain weight, maybe you might want to do the opposite and not eat those.

If your job is not giving you enough money to make ends meet maybe you might want to go into business.

If talking to a person in a bad mood is not working try talking to them in a good mood.

If replying to notifications everyday eats away your time and lessens your productivity maybe you can do the opposite.

Remember if what you are doing is not giving you the results you want then do the opposite because if you keep on doing what you do and expecting a different result, Einstein calls it insanity.

Just do the opposite.

Think about it.

How Media and Marketing Takes Control of Your Mind

Credits to RSD Tyler and DM Siapno

The sad thing about media is that for them to get your attention they have to create a headline that takes your attention.

Mostly its either bad news, sex, accidents or something crazy.

And this thing hurts people and the unfortunate thing is people are not aware of it.

They are not aware that their attitude, their health and fashion is greatly influenced by the media which is even more powerful these days than religion.

And most of the time, even if its bad like eating burgers, hating another person or country, celebrity or politician people are oblivious of it they just accept like they are zombies without control of their minds.
------------------------------------------

No one is against you.

You are the only one who is against yourself.

The Truth about Media and Social Advertisement.

You've been fooled all along by having them give what you just want and not what you really need.

Start asking questions and be curious, be responsible and accountable for your life rather than just blindly following the crowd.

Do not just safely live on the "Hope" of CHANGE!
